In Cielo Class the children are able to have flexible hours and use part time. We prioritise giving them love and care above all else. We want them to feel supported and safe in their new environment which is often their first away from home. Apart from our focus on their personal social and emotional well being we also have a strong focus on both their physical needs and communication skills.
Observing, planning for and guiding each individual childs needs to support the developmemt of their gross and fine motor skills they need for walking, reaching up, grabbing objects and coordination.
Using plenty of songs, sounds and language activities we develop their communication skills which in turn also supports their emotional and social well being.
Play Explore Learn
At Ombu we believe in learning through play. It is through play children will develop communication, social skills and problem solving strategies that will help them grow into strong independent learners. From their very first day at Ombu we use this love of play to guide their learning and their physical and social skills that they will need for the rest of their lives. In addition to their class teacher and guias the children at Ombu have different classes taught by specialists, including, Yoga, Parkour and Jammy Music. We believe in high ratio of adults to children to give them love and support and help guide their personalised learning journey.
